Teeth are something in which one should not poke at anybody and it is all according to Genetics. But if you are born with bad teeth then either you have enough money to pay a dentist a couple of hundred a year for checkups and braces etc. This is something James Harden didn’t have, or he was unaware of this, which he should have due to his upbringing.

James Harden is a professional basketball player and currently, he is playing for the Houston Rockets of National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on 26 August 1989. Most of the people are of the view that James Harden is famous for his beard, but others tend to pay attention to his misaligned teeth.

Apart from his high-level basketball skills, James Harden a shooting guard for his team is known for his beard both on and off the NBA court. His infamous beard which he decided to grow in 2009 was a media sensation for quite a long time. The media developed his trademark beard to distinguish him by using different names like The Bearded One, Beard God, and The Beard.

Before deciding to grow his beard, he was repeatedly in the list of NBA players having the worst types of teeth ever. The list includes James Harden alongside Anthony Davis for his skewed upper and lower teeth. Thank God that people focus was shifted from his teeth to beard when in 2016 James Harden decided to fix his teeth. There are still a few speculations that he is using braces to get fixed his teeth. Others are of the view that he is using Invisalign to get fixed his teeth. It was confirmed by himself in an interview that he is using an Invisalign retainer to get fix his teeth.

He claimed that he used Invisalign retainer during summer to straighten up his top teeth. Through Invisalign, the spots on his teeth are the anchor points where they are glued on that which helps pull the teeth when he pops the trays in. Everyone gets a different number of them and in different locations as needed.


James Harden’s teeth can be seen to be straightening after using one of these techniques. In general, his teeth weren’t that bad and not almost messed up enough to prohibit him from using Invisalign. He had the issue in which upper laterals were lagging the upper center. Usually, it takes less than 6 months to get teeth fixed through Invisalign.

So, it can be concluded that James Harden did get his teeth fixed through Invisalign.
